CONVENTION 2013Place: Winnipeg Manitoba, at the Viscount Gort Hotel, 1670 Portage Ave Date : Thursday August 15 to Sunday, August 18, 2013 Thursday - Registration and "Meet & Greet" Friday - Manitoba Hydro Building for supper and an evening of entertainment and tours of the building which is an award winner, recognized around the world for it's eco-system design. Saturday - morning the Memorial Ceremony to be held at Bardal's Inc., which "will" include lunch; the Grand Banquet at the Viscount Gort on Saturday night, including entertainment. Sunday - Farewell Breakfast. Please mark these dates on your calendar, and plan to bring your extended relations to make this a memorable family event. Not Finding What You Want?Our web sites contain thousands of files. How do you find just the information that you're after? The secret is to use our Search utility. You can find it at the top-right corner of most of our web pages. Just type a word or two into the input bar. The utility is designed to search only our web sites so results appear quickly and there's a good chance that they contain the links you'll find valuable. Still no luck? Virtual War Memorial- Mitzi Ross Check the "Virtual War Memorial" site. I sent a picture of fathers' younger brother "Stewart" Ross, who was killed during the war (1944), last week and they have put it up on their site already! If any of you have any relatives that died during the war you can check on this site and if you have any pictures of them you can submit them. Thought I'd send this to you in case you have any old pictures of relatives who died during the war and you would like them to be remembered. |

I have added a column (extreme right) that contains pictures of the 'C' Force soldiers that I have been able to collect. If you find any mistakes or have a picture that I am missing, please send me an email. |
