From Derrill Henderson: This is a photo of the NComs of the Royal Rifles taken at Sussex NB. My dad’s Company had been already sent to Gander NFLD when these photos were taken. I can say that the “Smith” (centre, second row seated is John Smith (called “Jake”). He was a neighbour in my home town. He was later promoted to LT.
