Original diary lost, destroyed or stolen at time of the capitulation of the British Crown Colony of Hong Kong. Canadian Force “C” under British order surrendered to the Japanese Army on Xmas day 1941. All personal belongings lost at Wanchai Gap as I was in Queen Mary Hospital with shrapnel wounds at time of surrender and trunks etc., looted by Chinese coolie bandits. Due to above, some of the following dates may be slightly incorrect.
