		this agenda:

-Transitory items such as conventions, memorial wall update, etc.
			-New Business
			-Points from the Regions

I have found it difficult to maintain this page in addition to the agenda and minutes pages on the Board of Directors web site, and I note that it is not visited often. As of Oct '13 I will provide meeting results on a request basis only. If you wish details on an item please contact me using the link at the bottom of the page.

Regional letters were mailed on April 20 to BC members regarding the upcoming luncheons in Victoria and Vancouver. Over 50 members with expired memberships were invited to attend and also to consider renewing their memberships. Hopefully we will have a good turnout and our renewal appeal will be successful. Jim has kindly posted the information on the website.
The letter also contained the news that Lee Naylor has stepped down from the Regional Director’s position. We thank Lee for his service and are grateful he has remained in his role as our regional Education Chair. We will not be seeking to replace the Director’s vacancy at this time as it has been decided to wait for regional elections in 2014.
Graeme Stacey has informed us that he is teaching about the ‘C’ Force story the next three days to students in Kelowna and has added new slides and images to our Power Point presentation and an activity where the students will use images from Hong Kong to put their ideas on paper.
Submitted by Murray Doull on behalf of the BC Region.
