Murray Doull's Report - on the 60th Anniversary of the Liberation of 'C' Force
In December 05, one of the events celebrating The Year of the Veteran involved a trip by six Hong Kong Veterans back to Hong Kong to participate in the 60th anniversary of their liberation.
38 of us, representing the Hong Kong Veterans Commemorative Association, were privileged to be present at these ceremonies. The trip was a unique event in our lives. Meeting and interacting with the six veterans, attending the various ceremonies, seeing some of the best of Canada's youth - these and other experiences will stay with us forever.
