First, a little information about The Ottawa Westin Hotel, #11 Colonel By Drive, Ottawa, Ontario, - It is in the heart of Ottawa on the Rideau Canal, - a few blocks from Parliament Hill, and adjacent to the Rideau Canal and Rideau Shopping Mall. - All designated meeting rooms are on the 3rd Floor and the Gala is on the 4 th floor, and are accessible by elevators. - Hotel amenities include an indoor pool, a 24-hour fitness center, bicycles to rent, free WiFi. - Concierge Service and Valet Parking, or self parking in the Rideau Mall Garage are also available. - There are two restaurants, a coffee shop/café/bar.

Here’s How! There are the 2 ways to book the Ottawa Westin Hotel, for the Reunion.
1. Starting February 1, 2025, use the Westin Hotel Reservation Link by visiting the website. Once you click the link, it will show V-J Day Reunion and provides you with the cost for the three days and you will need to provide your credit information. The Reunion Discount rate is $239.00 per night plus taxes, for a King, or double (assigned at check-in). Suites are available, but the discount will not apply. Deadline for reservations and to obtain the discounted reunion room rate is July 24, 2025. Please note: to receive this discount rate you must book through the above options. Discount rates are not available if you book with other booking sites like Reservation.com or Expedia etc.
2. Phone the Westin Hotel directly at 1-888-627-8528 to make your reservation. The hotel is wheelchair accessible and five accessible rooms are set aside. Three have showers, and two have tub baths. Book early to ensure availability. To reserve your room, the Westin will request your credit card information. Registration Packages will be mailed to you in April 2025, but advance Hotel booking information is provided to enable you to book rooms in advance to ensure availability, and to facilitate travel arrangements.
Parking and Transportation

If you are driving, temporary unloading is available near the front entrance of the Westin. Daily Westin parking is available in the adjacent Rideau Mall Garage for $30.00 per day. Valet Parking is also available at $54.00 per day.
Transportation at Ottawa Airport Arrival
The Westin does not have a shuttle bus from the Airport to the hotel, so you may want to make arrangements for friends to pick you up at the Ottawa Airport, or catch a taxi or Uber located outside the Airport Arrivals area on level 1. A bus/train service is also available.

Event Transportation
Accessible bus transportation from the Westin Hotel to Memorial Wall Ceremony and for the activities at the Canadian War Museum are included in the registration fees.
Registration and Fees
The Reunion Registration Fee of $300 per person includes the following:
- Thursday evening “Meet and Greet”.
- Buffet breakfast Friday, and continental breakfasts Saturday and Sunday morning.
- The Gala Banquet, speakers and entertainment Saturday evening.
- Transportation to/from the Memorial Wall and National War Museum events.
- All arrangements for the Memorial Wall commemoration.
- Admission, tour, guest speaker, and lunch at the Canadian War Museum.
- Break-out informational sessions.

The full fee is charged whether attending full or part time.
Payment of fees is due with your registration forms that will be mailed in April 2025.
